A few years ago, I thought I had it all figured out. I was 32, on the verge of marriage, and building the life I had always imagined — until everything changed. Within just a few weeks, I experienced a sudden breakup, my father suffered a life-threatening medical accident that left him on life support, and I lost my job so I could be by my family’s side. I packed up my life in Atlanta and moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma, unsure of what the future held.

I know what it feels like to come so close to the life you dreamed of, only to have it fall apart. To stare at a blank page and wonder how to begin again.

But here’s the truth: that breakup was the best thing that ever happened to me. It cracked my life open in the most unexpected way. It made room for new beginnings — opportunities I never imagined. Doors opened for me to live in Dublin, work at Google, find a tribe of like-minded people, travel the world, and rediscover myself.

It wasn’t easy. I had to fight for my joy, choose hope daily, and believe that better things were still ahead. And now, that’s exactly what I help other women do.

Through my course, Blooming Against All Odds, I guide women who are in the in-between — those who crave companionship, belonging, and purpose, but find themselves in a season of waiting and rediscovery.

Together, we shift mindsets, rebuild confidence, and learn how to not just survive this season, but bloom through it.
